Christof is a sailor, engineer, adventurer at heart and author of many sailing reports cruised the waters of B.C. for over decade while he ran a sailing school and competed in local and international yacht races culminating in the 2018 Vic-Maui Race.After a decade of making a living in sailing he now enjoys sailing B.C.’ vast coastline and exploring its countless bays and islands with his family.

Andrea is no stranger to the sailing world. For many years she assisted running the sailing school, was the shore communications liaison during several Vic-Maui adventures and now is in charge of provisions, shore excursions and assuring Salient is a comfortable cruising boat rather than a bare boat race racing machine.

Leonardo first sailed at the age of three months. The hammock was his home while the boat bounced through the waves. He since joined us on all our voyages. His favourites spots are Shark Spit near Cortes Island (for the sand dollars) and Shoal Bay on East Thurlow Island because of the adventure to the abandoned gold mine.
